We are still waiting on official confirmation, but current indicators suggest the repairs to the regional fiber route have been completed. Service is returning to normal levels.

Our team will continue monitoring the network to make sure everything settles in. If you are still experiencing interruptions, we are actively reviewing and adjusting traffic.

Service disruption is still ongoing this morning. Repair crews continue working on the damaged fiber line, and restoration efforts are active. We have not yet been provided with a confirmed restoration estimate.

Customers may continue to experience reduced speeds or intermittent connectivity while repairs are underway. As overall network demand decreases, some improvement may occur, but service will still be impacted until the work is complete.

We know how disruptive this is and want you to know we are pushing for updates and doing everything we can to work with Lumen to support the repair process. We appreciate your patience and will share more information as soon as we receive it.

More detail: The issue is tied to a major fiber route that our upstream partner Lumen uses to carry traffic for our region. A section of their underground conduit collapsed, which trapped the fiber inside it. Their crews have been pumping out water, clearing debris, and creating a clear path so new fiber can be pulled through. Once the new fiber is in place, splicing teams will begin reconnecting everything so service can be restored.

We are aware that some customers are experiencing severe degradation of connectivity or a complete loss of internet and phone service. This is due to a cut on a main Lumen fiber line in Texas impacting the entire region. Lumen is one of the major backbone providers that connects regional networks like ours to the wider internet, so damage on their network can disrupt service for multiple providers across the area.

Our team is actively managing the effect on our services. We have already taken steps to extend capacity and re-route traffic and will continue to do so while repair work is underway.

At this time, Lumen has not provided an estimated completion window, but we will share updates as soon as new information becomes available. Thank you for your patience while we work through this regional issue.

You have two simple options to switch to paperless billing:

1. Call Customer Service: Just dial 337-993-4237 and speak to one of our friendly representatives who will help you set up paperless billing in no time.

2. Online Method: If you prefer to manage your billing online, follow these steps:

- Sign into your account via the customer portal.

- Navigate to the “Make a Payment” section.

- Click on “Manage Bill Delivery.”

- Under “How would you like to receive your monthly bill?”, select “Email with a link to the portal invoice delivered to:(your email address).”

- Don’t forget to click “Save” to confirm your preference!
