9-1-1 PHONE LINES RESTORED

Lafayette, LA – Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) and the Lafayette Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP) have been notified by the 9-1-1 Communications District that 9-1-1 phone lines have been restored and are fully operational.

Residents may once again call 9-1-1 directly for emergencies.

We thank the public for their patience during the outage and remind everyone to use 9-1-1 responsibly for emergencies only.

Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) and the Lafayette Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (OHSEP) have received notice from the 9-1-1 Communications District that statewide 9-1-1 phone lines are currently down.

Residents are still able to send text messages to 9-1-1, which are being received.

For emergency phone calls, please dial 337-232-1400.

This outage is connected to a service disruption with one of our national partners, which is also affecting calls into our customer care center and tech support. Existing customers may also be experiencing issues placing or receiving calls.

We are actively working with our partners to resolve the issue. Updates will be provided as systems are restored and any critical information becomes available.

- Save Time: No more waiting for bills to arrive in the mail—get notified the moment your bill is ready.

Getting Started with Paperless Billing is Easy!

You have two simple options to switch to paperless billing:

1. Call Customer Service: Just dial 337-993-4237 and speak to one of our friendly representatives who will help you set up paperless billing in no time.

2. Online Method: If you prefer to manage your billing online, follow these steps:

- Sign into your account via the customer portal.

- Navigate to the “Make a Payment” section.

- Click on “Manage Bill Delivery.”

- Under “How would you like to receive your monthly bill?”, select “Email with a link to the portal invoice delivered to:(your email address).”

- Don’t forget to click “Save” to confirm your preference!

LFT Fiber Visitor Parking Downtown

We are happy to offer free parking for customers visiting our downtown office at 214 Jefferson Street. The gated parking lot is conveniently located across W. Cypress street, on the corner of Jefferson street. Kindly look for the LFT Fiber signpost at the entrance. Please note that free parking is exclusively available for customers visiting our office. Parking is strictly monitored and vehicles belonging to non-visitors will be towed at owners’ risk. We kindly ask non-visitors not to use this parking area, as LFT Fiber is not responsible for vehicles parked in violation of these guidelines.
