The Touch-a-Truck event, hosted by the Junior League of Lafayette, is a beloved community gathering that creates unforgettable experiences for families. Children can climb aboard their favorite vehicles, from fire engines to construction trucks, and engage with the exciting world of transportation in a hands-on way.
On Saturday, March 22nd, at Blackham Coliseum, LUS Fiber proudly partnered with the Lafayette Police Department to support this wonderful initiative. LUS Fiber is passionate about giving back to the community, and as part of this collaboration, the company donated 45 backpacks to the event. These backpacks were distributed by the Lafayette Police Department to children who visited their Mobile Command Unit, helping to make the day even more memorable for everyone involved. This initiative reflects LUS Fiber’s commitment to fostering community spirit and enriching the lives of our youth.
