LFT Fiber, in collaboration with the 4-A Sister's Club, proud to honor Major Fannie McClendon

LFT Fiber, in collaboration with the 4-A Sister's Club, proudly honored Major Fannie McClendon, a Lafayette native who served in the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion during World War II.

Our special event to recognize the great Major Fannie McClendon was an absolute honor! It was an incredible experience to celebrate her legacy and the vital contributions of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion during World War II.

One of the highlights of the evening was a powerful video interview with Major McClendon, now 104 years old, which deeply moved everyone in attendance. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to sponsor this event in partnership with the 4-A Sister's Club and to bring the community together in recognizing such a remarkable figure.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! Together, we ensure that Major McClendon’s inspiring story continues to resonate with future generations.
